Master o’ Magic Fun
So recently I’ve been messin’ ‘round with Master o’ Magic and came up with some surprisingly effective, if not entertaining builds. First of all I would like to point out that these builds have mostly been tested in PvP but I am confident that they will function just as well in PvE, with a few variations. Secondly, it will do good to mention that for the most part, due to the nature of these builds, they are limited to functionality rather than raw damage.
First of all put all your points in Energy Storage and add a +1 Energy Storage Rune. Add Prismatic Insignias to all your armor, head gear included, and fill in the rest with Vitae Runes, and one Mayor Virgo. Get yourself a shield, as long as it has requirement of 12 or less in Tactics, Command, or Motivation it should work fine, and then add all your remaining points into the shield’s requirement. This will grant you around 72 Energy and 96 Armor, +20 from Prismatic + 16 from your Shield. Not bad considering warriors have 80. You should also get a sword/axe with +5 energy, +30 health.
For all these builds the two main skills are Master o’ Magic and Aura o’ Restoration, to cover MoM. If you so choose you can also take Glyph of Elemental Power to boost your attributes by 2.
Air/Earth Condition Overload;
1. Master of Magic
2. Aura of Restoration
3. Shell Shock (/Lightning Orb)
4. Enervating Charge
5. Glow Stone
6. Stoning
7. Ash Blast
8. [Optional]
This build is effective in both PvE and PvP.
Elemental Flame Freeze;
1. Master of Magic
2. Aura of Restoration
3. Elemental Flame
4. Glowing Gaze
5. Smoldering Embers
6. Shard Storm
7. Blurred Vision
8. Freezing Gust
Obviously this build better for PvP where you can mess up melee characters pretty badly by slowing them down, reducing their accuracy, and inflicting some burn.
Earthen Shackles Burn;
1. “ “
2. “ “
3. Earthen Shackles
4. Mark of Rodgort
5. Glowing Gaze
6. Fireball
7. Steam
8. Slippery Ground
Another mostly PvP build, although it works wonders at avoiding damage in PvE as well as inflicting some.
Earthen Shackles Nuke
1. “ “
2. “ “
3. Earthen Shackles
4. Mark of Rodgort
5. Fire Storm
6. Searing Heat
7. Teinai’s Heat
8. Ebon Battle Standard of Honor[PvE]
A fun build to use on annoying targets, like healers to keep them pinned down in a location while raining hell down upon them. It’s even more useful in PvE where Ebon Battle Standard of Honors can greatly improve your damage.
These are just some on the ones I’ve come up with, but in truth there are many combinations. Keep in mind though that these builds work even better by using your heroes to complement them.
If you have any suggestions feel free to post and express your thoughts. Although it would be nice if there are no flamed debates I think it will be wise to mention that a lv 12 Frigid Armor is possible with these builds greatly reducing the burn.
Enjoy,
Hoyce

I'm assuming the tested part is RA, because anything else I've been in has always had Rend Enchantments on somebody. One of those and you're useless for ~15 seconds until MoM recharges. Speaking of RA/PvP, res sigs?

psst, who uses Rez Sig in RA...on a serious note you can take out any of the non-vital skills and add Rez Sig. As for the enchantment removal, once again you have a point, however every build has weaknesses so we must learn to live with them.

Actually it wouldn't be very difficult considering you have 96 armor to begin with, with Armor of Earth you would have around 140 AL

For the first build, why not that uh... magnetic shield or something like that? It slows the enemy down 90% and they are only affected by lightning damage...

^^ Iron Mist. Unless your entire team has lightning weapons, you're sure to piss some people off.
VV Yes, but that implies teamwork, which is rare to be found in GW, especially in something like RA.

If he does that to him, they can all go elsewhere and distract while he spams air magic...
